Christian Counseling is provided with a whole person approach. We first use the Word of God as the basis for transforming the soul and spirit. Secondly, we utilize the most in-depth and accurate temperament analysis available to identify each client’s unique temperament needs, strengths and weaknesses. Thirdly, together with the client, we identify and bring healing to heart issues from old hurts, unforgiveness, shame, fears, traumas and personal sin. Fourthly, if needed, we look into the nutritional health of the client’s hormones, neurotransmitters, adrenals, and much more, to determine how much body chemistry is involved in the client’s inability to overcome deeper emotional reactions on their own.  Lisa has been trained under Dr. Earl Henslin, to utilize the Amen Brain Checklist from Amen Clinics.  As needed, we refer to licensed practitioners for tests and supplements that will bring balance to the body, mind and emotions.

Effective Christian Counseling is a therapeutic relationship between counselor and client, with the purpose of leading the client closer to God’s best for their lives. The counselor is a vessel of God’s grace and love, and equipped to help the client learn successful ways to overcome their present situation and past hurts. When the client is willing and committed to participate in the process, our Christ-Centered Temperament Therapy has proven to be 96% successful.
